"Magic" Spray

As a school counselor, you work with ALL classrooms of students. Every room is different, which means every lesson will be different as well. This is a cute idea from Pinterest that you can use to manage student behaviors. Just take a clean spray bottle and fill it with water. Label as "Quiet Spray" or whatever else you want to reinforce (i.e. positive attitude). Then, spray away to get your students' attention; of course, I wouldn't spray directly ON students, just in the air. Super fun and super easy!

Behavior Management

A simple way to praise positive student behaviors and maintain control of any classroom. I learned of this idea through Pinterest.

Mr. Potato Head Behavior Management

Here is a different behavior management technique (from the Something to Chirp About blog) that is easy to explain and implement with your students.

When your group demonstrates positive behaviors, you add a part to Mr. Potato Head. If they put him back to together, then your group can earn a reward, whatever you decide is most appopriate.
