There are days when students seem to flock to me, ready to say every negative thing they have ever noticed at school, from someone cutting in line to taking too long at the drinking fountain. To help with this, I created a "tattle monster" for our main office.
To explain the process to our students, we created a "How To" video.
Students use the tattle forms to let us know about both positive and negative student interactions. I read the forms each day. Positive tattles are read on the morning announcements, negative tattles are dealt with on an "as needed" basis.
For more information on tattling, check out my classroom lesson page.
