TED Talks

TED (Technology, Entertainment, Design) is a nonprofit devoted to sharing creative and thought-provoking content, hence their slogan, "Ideas Worth Spreading." TED started as a conference in 1984, but has grown much larger in scope. I would like to highlight one of my favorite features: TED Talks.

As advertised on their site, you can find over 1400 talks to spark your interest. The unique search feature will help you discover content with distinct labels, such as "jaw-dropping," "persuasive," or "inspiring." You can even add subtitles to the videos, which provides easier access to all TED Talks content.

Now, 1400+ videos may seem a little daunting, so TED kindly offers a list of 11 "classics" that will help ease you into the information pool. I have also included two of my favorite TED Talks videos (below) that you may find useful in your school counseling practice. Enjoy!
